I’m Pete Marcolina, and through Freedom K-9 Training I work to create a foundation for a
happy and healthy lifelong relationship between dogs and the people they share their lives
with.

I founded Marcolina’s Way in 1991 after apprenticing 2 years in the residential mentorship program with expert Canine Trainer and Behaviorist Ricardo Wright, working specifically with dogs experiencing all types of behavioral issues while residing at Stonehead Dog Ranch in Leesburg, Virginia, I acquired extensive training and experience in canine obedience, basic, agility training, as well as behavior modification.

Concurrently, with Club Pet International in Chantilly, VA I worked with and was mentored by expert Dog Trainer/Owner Robert Rawlins, I then formed and developed Marcolina’s Way. Certified Pet Care Technician through ABKA.

I have trained dogs extensively for over 30 years continuously while pursuing other
opportunities to serve and help dogs throughout the United States working with Rescues,
Humane Societies, and Kennels. I am now serving throughout the Verde Valley, in beautiful
Arizona as Freedom K-9 Training.

My mission is the welfare of the animals and the families they are a part of to have a solid
foundation of happiness, good health, and well-being.
